  1. I wish this were a joke, but when I paired this hose with Amazon’s highest rated quick connector set (Harmony Lead Free-Garden Hose Connector), I can’t get water. In the picture, you’ll see that the male end of this hose has a shallow and narrow opening which doesn’t allow the quick connector’s cut-off valve enough depth to open. The result is no water. All I can think of is to cut off the end of this hose and install a male-end hose repair kit. What a disappointment.Update — the folks at Giraffe have been wonderful and responsive. They sent me a new hose to try and offered to pay for any fix. However, because of the unusual design of the male end of the hose, there remains an incompatibility with quick connectors that incorporate a water cut-off valve (that stops water flow when the nozzle is disconnected.) Other quick connectors without a cut-off valve should work fine. I otherwise like this hose a lot for its light weight, resistance to kinking, and easy-grip handles. It also has a stripe down the length of the hose that serves as a guide for coiling it up without twisting as with other hoses. Giraffe was so interested in the quick-connector issue that I wouldn’t be surprised to see them redesign the hose end at some point.

  2. Guys and Gals. I never write reviews unless something is amazing or down right terrible. This is terrible, the hose does come with a prebuilt kink in it you can’t get out. This problem is aware to the seller because you get a preemptive email letting you know they have had issues. Well they are not resolved. You can’t use it with this kink, trust me. Stay away.Ok Update.. they shipped me a new one saying this happens 1/50 times. So I attached another picture of the exact same issues on my second one they sent. Staying at a 1 star review as the result is the same which would back up my initial review. This is simple a bad product. A no link hose that kinks during shipping. That kink is permanent and isn’t coming out.
